I just got back from spending the holidays back home with my family in France. It was a few jam-packed days of catch-up time with family, complete with some good eats and visits of some of the neighbourhoods I miss the most when I’m away. Take a peek at some of my favourite moments in Paris! I’m now back in Toronto, looking out onto a snow-kissed city, completely and utterly jet-lagged!
Parisian Rooftops Carrousel at the Parc Monceau Burrata cheese and confit tomatoes at Delitaly Restaurant Religieuse and Millefeuille at Cyril Lignac’s Patisserie Pineapple Carpaccio, Passion Fruit and Currants at Cafe Guitry Pastry case at Fauchon Crab and Avocado Salad at Fauchon Cafe Beef Carpaccio, Parmesan Shavings and Arugula at La Matta Restaurant Festive lights by Hotel de Ville Kouignette pastries (to die for!) at Maison Georges Larnicol Chouquettes — deliciously light and airy sugar puffs with pearl sugar

December 30, 2013 at 8:05 pm (11 years ago)What a wonderful holiday! (Does that mean you missed the Toronto ice storm?) Your pictures all look terrific, but that beef carpaccio salad really made my mouth water.
